Things worth keeping
I like software you can repair, understand and keep using. Interfaces that don't fight the person using them. A bit of character instead of the average of every template. Usable, accessible, and ideally fun.
Open and direct
I say what I mean, plainly and early. If something is hard, if I'm unsure, or if I think there's a better way, you'll hear it. I'm disciplined with my time and I take responsibility for what I ship. Async is fine; honestly, the directness matters more than the format.
Thinking it through
I'd rather spend a bit longer on the problem and find the real solution than ship the first one that looks plausible. The plan works through the edge cases, the failure modes, and the side effects that are easy to miss. That's what makes the building itself quick and pragmatic.
You're not the product
No tracking. No data collection. No paywalls. I'm not trying to sell you something just because it sells. If the work is good, it speaks for itself.
